You never have to submit an email address, phone number, password, or OAuth login to use OutSync. Display names chosen inside rooms are stored strictly in client-side localStorage on your own device.

Source code synchronized between users resides purely in transient server memory during active sessions to process delta updates. Once all users leave a session, the room memory is automatically purged.

Voice rooms utilize WebRTC direct mesh connections. Audio packets travel directly between peer browsers and are never recorded, transcribed, or stored on OutSync infrastructure.

We do not use invasive third-party tracking scripts or cross-site advertising pixels. Aggregated metrics (such as page views and errors) are used solely to monitor platform health and stability.
